Le trajet de Luang Prabang à la frontière thaïlandaise devait nous prendre une nuit en bus. Mais les nombreux détours dans les villages paumés pour y charger des marchandises, la panne d'essence d'un camion au milieu de la route(bloquand ainsi l'ensemble de la circulation) et l'embourbement de notre bus au milieu de la piste ont fait durer le plaisir un peu plus longtemps que prévu. Nous avons donc passé la fameuse frontière vers 15h puis avons repris un autre bus jusqu'à Chiang Mai, au nord ouest de la Thaïlande.
Nous ne sommes arrivées que vers 22h, sachant que l'on était parties la veille à 18h.... le temps commençait à être long !
Back to Thailand after 28hours of bus
We were supposed to go until the border in only one night but the bus decided to go to some villages to pick up any kind of stuff like motorbikes, rice bags … and then deliver them to other places. A truck got stuck in the middle of the road so we stopped to give it some gasoline, and then it was our bus that got stuck in a muddy road. So we got at the border at 3pm (instead of 9am), and then took an other bus to Chang Mai a city in the north-ouest of Thailand.
