Bus de nuit pour aller de San Pedro à Arica, ville la plus au nord du Chili, sur la mer, juste à la frontière avec le Pérou et pas loin de la Bolivie.
J'y reste une bonne journée, juste pour faire un break et me reposer un peu avant d'aller en Bolivie. Pas de chance j'y suis un dimanche, tout est fermé, je ne visite donc que le centre et par me promener à la plage.
Ville assez sympa même si je n'y suis pas restée assez longtemps pour avoir un vrai avis. Beaucoup de personnes viennent là pour le surf, mais bon moi j'ai déjà essayé et je sais que ce n'est pas pour moi :-)
C'est aussi la ville la plus aride du monde, selon les mesures de pluviométrie, les précipitations annuelles sont de 0,8mm. Entre 1903 et 1916, il n'y a pas eu une goutte de pluie durant 173 mois!
Arica, little break before going to Bolivia
Night bus to go from San Pedro to Arica, the city the most on the north of Chili, by the ocean, right on the border with Peru and not too far from Bolivia.
I stay there a day, just to make a break and relax before Bolivia. Unlucky it's Sunday and everything is closed. I just walk around the city and go to the beach?
Nice city even if i didn't stay long enough to have a real opinion. Lots of people come here to surf, but i already tried and i know it's not for me.. :-)
It's a well the driest city on earth, it almost never rains, it's still in the Atacama desert!
